The question that we get asked the most: what makes Hilandero Blades better than the national brands? Our answer is nothing.

That's not what Hilandero Blades is about. We are about making a different kind of

spinnerbait.

Our head has a "belly" which helps our baits deflect off of cover. We also use a heavier gauge wire that also helps our baits deflect off of cover and also reduces how often our baits need to be re-tuned. Our blades have a special cupping that spin at a wider arc and a slower speed which reduces lift and keeps the bait in the strike zone longer. The surface area of our blades are slightly larger which reflects more light and create more "thump" in the water. We hand tie our skirts which helps prevent the skirt from slipping. ​​
